Question of the Day is a program of great power and potential for promoting both personal and social responsibility. It can be tailored to any particular age group or school. Each day a “Question” is announced over the school’s public address system. Because the announcement originates from the front office of the school, the Question of the Day comes across as quite formal and important. As a result, everyone in the school—students and staff alike—tend to pay attention to what is being said. In the classroom where students have heard the Question of the Day, there is a natural tendency to reflect on the question that has been posed.
